EXHIBITION "THE INKS OF NUYE"

A series of drawings made with Chinese ink and pencils illustrate the creation process of NUYE. The artist Aurora Caja created these images of moments spent in the creation rooms, of bodies that speak, mix and search.

Aurora Caja (Palma de Mallorca, 1990) is dedicated to the circus and the plastic arts. Her research with both disciplines focuses on articulating them to create her own language. She has studied Plastic Arts at Escola Massana in Barcelona and Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona. Her circus training took place at the Flic Scuola di Circo in Turin and Ésacto’Lido, the École Supérieure des Arts du Cirque Toulouse-Occitanie.

 

In the physical area, she works with verticals, acrodance and contortion. Her first show is entitled “Non verbal”. At the same time, she continues to work as a visual artist, in collaboration with the Compañía de Circo “eia” or Joan Català, and independently.
